Bruce Molsky's latest project — Molsky's Mountain Drifters — packs a punch with three of the most captivating performers in the most recent generation of Old-Time and American Roots music. The band features Bruce along with Stash Wyslouch of the Deadly Gentlemen on guitar and vocals and Allison de Groot on banjo and vocals.
Beacon's own Bruce Molsky is "one of America's premier fiddling talents" (Mother Jones) and a twice-Grammy-nominated artist. His collaboration with Anonymous 4, "1865 - Songs Of Hope And Home From The American Civil War," debuted at the Towne Crier and the CD has spent months on Billboard's Top 10 Chart. He is also a special guest on legend rocker Mark Knopfler's new CD, "Tracker" and is working on his third album with Andy Irvine & Donal Lunny's supergroup Mozaik. No Depression called his most recent solo CD "If It Ain't Here When I Get Back", "an album from an absolute master."
