Join us for a release party for The Flurries' new album, “Tail of the Comet”!

The Flurries are known for their energetic and charismatic stage show, blending the songwriting of singer/guitarist Jerry Kitzrow, with the power-and-precision rhythm section of Peter McCaw on bass and Neil Green on drums. Starting with their 2014 debut album, “Colour Show,” the trio has been part of establishing the now-thriving music scene of Beacon, NY.

The Flurries' latest album release, “Tail of the Comet,” brings you a flurry of 12 new three-minute-gems. As they sing on the title track: “On the Tail of the Comet … The Future’s already started... Wherever you are” … The Flurries pull you into their future with their melodic hooks and sharp lyrics and keep you there with their modern musical twists.

Jerry Kitzrow broke into the industry as a lad of 17 with New York City power pop faves, The Bandables, and after time away to start a family, he returned with new songs and new musical partners, Neil & Peter, to form The Flurries. Jerry still keeps some of the edge and attitude from his early days at CBGB’s and the club circuit – but the trio also brings their own twist to roots rockabilly, with hints of soul and even touches of jazz.

Peter McCaw studied at Berklee School of Music and has played bass for primary acts of the Hudson Valley. Neil Green brings his versatile drum style to The Flurries with the same focus that made him a track and football star as running back at Boston College and later in the NFL.

The Flurries are pleased to have teamed with such terrific people - and talents – in bringing “Tail of the Comet” to life: recording by Gilbert Hetherwick; mixing by Dave O’Donnell; mastering by Matthew Agoglia.

The Costellos—led by the eclectic musicians Lynn & Bob Costello—mix a blend of rock, pop, surf and country. The combination of Lynn’s hypnotic voice and Bobby’s guitar skills brings audiences to their feet with songs written by this dynamic duo. On stage, The Costellos have performed with major acts including Bon Jovi, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, Crash Test Dummies, NRBQ and America. They were a featured act at Woodstock ’94 and have made several TV appearances including CNBC’s America’s Talking.
