Breakneck Ridge Revue is a true revue, featuring an ensemble of notable Hudson Valley musicians performing a mix of traditional, classic and original songs with mostly-American folk roots. Think Prairie Home Companion for the Hudson Highlands. The Breakneck credo is “simple music for complicated times" -- a particularly useful philosophy these days.

The Revue is led by Andy Revkin, a songwriter and instrumentalist who’s best known as a longtime environmental journalist and author, and David Ross, a singer and guitarist who chairs the Art Practice graduate program at the School of Visual Arts and is the former director of the Whitney Museum of American Art. The band is Todd Giudice, a drummer, guitarist and music producer; Dan Einbender, a longtime sideman of Pete Seeger who shared a 2011 Grammy Award for co-producing Pete’s “Tomorrow’s Children” album; Patrick Stanfield Jones, a composer, arranger, teacher and guitar virtuoso in all styles; and Mark Murphy, a phenomenal bassist.
