Every once in a while, an album comes along that’s a breath of fresh air … a statement of substance and grace that reminds us of life’s bigger picture: keeping a marriage afloat, raising children, dealing with death, loving your partner, finding yourself, claiming your independence. On Goodnight Moonshine’s “I’m the Only One Who Will Tell You, You’re Bad,” the duo delivers a funny, smart, explicit, raw, honest, mature, witty collection of folk-pop songs that reflect the messiness of ‘partnership’ (in its many forms), parenthood and growing up, while evoking the emotionally resonant aesthetic of Shawn Colvin and Patty Griffin.

When you first hear Goodnight Moonshine it brings a wave of nostalgia, conjuring teenage heartache- then perhaps a similar sensation to falling deeply in love. As the music fades you're left grappling with what it is to stay in love with something both beautiful and flawed. Courageous unveiling and depth of experience make the collaboration between married couple Molly Venter and Eben Pariser addictively captivating.

Consummate performers, Molly and Eben have also appeared nationally and internationally, 100-plus shows a year, with their respective bands Red Molly and Roosevelt Dime. Goodnight Moonshine tours with upright bassist Adam Chilenski and their 2-year old son Otis.

Joe Krzyzewski is a 25-year-old singer/songwriter who hails from New York’s Hudson Valley. Inspired to become a musician by local legends Levon Helm and Pete Seeger, Joe has been gigging both in bands and as a solo act since 2008. Joe’s songs borrow from the rich canon of folk, blues, and country music while exploring modern themes.

Joe has performed regionally with projects such as The Vagabond Brothers, the 67’s, and Clearwater’s The Power of Song. As an active member of POS, Joe contributed guitar and vocals to Pete Seeger’s 2010 “Tomorrow’s Children” album, for which he received a Grammy credit.
