Enjoy live music and rotating art exhibits in a cozy setting! This week featuring Gary Adamson.

Gary Adamson has been a musician and teacher for more than 40 years. Towne Crier audiences probably know Gary best for his Woodstock tribute band, Back to the Garden 1969. He also performs as a solo artist and with California Dreamin', a tribute to the music of Southern California in the '60s and '70s.

Gary’s first album, “Into Light,” was released in late 1999. In 2002, he recorded “No Night There,” a 9/11 tribute. In 2009, Gary released “The Greatest Gift,” an album of original and traditional Christmas songs. In 2012, he wrote, produced and performed “At Christmas Time,” which appeared on the Westchester All Stars for Wounded Veterans album.

Gary also runs Waters Edge Music, a production company and record label. He wrote and produced the theme music for the Emmy-nominated Disney television series, “Secrets of the Animal Kingdom.” He has also written and recorded soundtrack music for many industrial and environmental films.

In 2010, Gary produced and performed “Musical Fun,” Volumes 1 and 2, educational CDs of children’s music in English and Spanish.

Gary writes and performs music at Trinity Presbyterian Church, where he is a member. He teaches percussion, keyboards, guitar and ‘the art of rock and roll’ to a select group of students.
